Jack Sharkey, PA-C, MMS, is a highly skilled Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. He works at the Schweiger Dermatology Group in Encinitas and Vista, California. He’s originally from Santa Barbara, California, and graduated from Midwestern University in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Medical Science for Physician Assistant Studies. Before this, he graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Jack’s impressive professional history spans over five years, during which he has served in dermatology practices in Arizona and California. He’s a strong advocate for comprehensive skin exams with dermoscopy, which aim to detect and prevent skin cancer early. His expertise extends to treating a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis.
